Studying law in the UK
Law qualifications from the UK are widely recognised and respected in many countries.
Britain's performance in a league table of the world's top universities has improved every year with four of the top 10 being British in the latest survey by the Times Higher Education Supplement and careers and education group QS.

Studying law not only allows you to develop your analytical, time management and communication skills but also allows you to specialise and gain international experience. For many students, taking a law course in the UK or in a foreign jurisdiction offers the benefit of an international perspective and the opportunity of immersing themselves in a different culture and language. The UK has always welcomed students from all over the world. In 2004/5, there were 218,395 students from outside the EU, which represents 9.5% of the entire higher education population. At postgraduate level, students from outside the UK made up 50.1% of all full-time postgraduates, with 37.9% coming from outside the EU.

And don't forget, should you wish to practice law in the UK, law firms need international lawyers and students like you! To find out more about law courses in the UK select from the menu of courses below.
